Leinster Championship: the story continues

Senior Hurlers (1)
Congratulation to the Senior Hurlers in beating  Castletown from Laois in the first round of the Leinster  Intermediate Championship. A great achievement by all concerned. Next up is Celbridge  in the semi-final on Saturday 19th at 2pm in Bray Emmets. This 3-in-a-row team deserves our full support. Wear your colours with pride.

County Final

U 16 Camogiue 2016

Congratulations to the U16 Camogie team and management on reaching the A Final. Well done to everybody, a great result. The final, against Knockanna,  takes place in Aughrim on Sunday 13th at 2pm. Bring all the noise!

Scór na n-Óg 
The 2016 Scór na n-Óg Performance County Final will be held in the clubhouse of St Patrick's GAA Club, Wicklow on Friday 11th November commencing at 7.30pm. We are hoping that every club will enter an act in at least one category of the competition this year. The All-Ireland Finals will be held in the Waterfront Theatre in Belfast, so that's certainly a goal to aim for!

The categories in the Scór performance competitions are as follows:

1. Rince Foirne Céilí Figure Dancing (4-8 dancers)

2. Amhránaíocht Aonair Solo Singing
3. Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht Recitation/Storytelling
4. Ceol Uirlise Instrumental Music (2-5 members)
5. Léiriú Stairiúil Historical Presentation/Novelty Act (3-8 members)
6. Bailéad Ghrúpa Ballad Group (3-5 members)
7. Rince Seit Set Dancing (4-8 dancers)
