Volunteers for TG4 programme needed
I'm working on a new TV series for TG4 that will feature the women of the GAA - from the mothers who drive miles to matches around the country to the background teams of female physios and doctors, from the loyal supporters to the board members who help to run the clubs.

If anybody knows someone who might be interested in learning more about the series I'd really appreciate hearing about them. As it is a TG4 series, participants would need to have an adequate level of Irish.

Match Reports

Junior Hurling

Bray Emmets Vs Carnew
We started the day with 17 players for our first match  of 2016.But as the day went on and the texts from players crying off ment we traveled to carnew with 13 players. The game itself was a fairly open and clean game thanks to referee john keenan, The first half was pretty close with carnew edging it 1;6 to 1;3 . In the second half the lack of players told as carnew brought on subs and injury ment we had to change goalkeeper. BUT after conceding 2 soft goals we showed we would not give in easy and with some fine points from enda ford, liam benville, daniel kennedy and conor o doherty we finished the game the strongest but was it not enough and carnew won 3;15 to 1;9 .....

U-14 Hurling Feile

The boys’ interest in Feile this year ended on a tough afternoon for them in Ballinakill on Saturday April 30th. An 18 man squad, seriously depleted by player injury, involvement in school sports and family commitments, played in the group stages against two very strong divisional sides in Luke O’ Tooles and Michael O’ Dwyers. All of the Emmets' boys showed great effort and commitment, and fought from beginning to end, but were beaten by their opponents in both games.
