Club jerseys, unused hurleys and helmets
Would  all players, parents and mentors to check if they have any Bray Emmets team jerseys. There are a number of jerseys missing from juvenile and adult team sets . The jerseys can be returned any night of the week to the clubhouse or on Saturday morning between 10.30 and 12.30pm. We are also looking for any hurleys and hurling helmets that are not being used at present to be dropped into the clubhouse where we will find good use for them.

Ciaran Barnes is the Bray Emmets Referee Coordinator . He can be contacted at 0876693206. Requests for home-game referees should be made to Ciaran  on a Tuesday so he can plan for the week.

Match Reports

U8 Camogie

Avondale  Blitz
Saturday, 4th July

We played three matches in the blitz against Avondale, Arklow and Glenealy. The girls played very well in all three games and no need to list all the scorers as just look at the team list below because they all scored and, even better, we didn't concede any. No standout player this week as the whole team played great with very good defending and good striking & passing to get the ball up to the forwards. But Olivia & Elise were particularly clinical in front of goal.

Foireann: Aine Hayde, Ciara Lambe, Elise Burke, Kate Butler,  Katie Curran, Kimberly Kennedy, Naoise Sweeney McMaster, Olivia Gibson, Orla Fitzsimons
Bainisteoir: Alan Kennedy

U10 Girls Football

Bray Vs St. James Gaels
Saturday,  4th July - 2.00

This was our last Dublin football fixture and we finished off on a high.  A very good display from the whole team and we were just too strong for St. James.

Foireann: Alannah Harrington, Annie Redmond, Aoibhe Traynor, April Harty, Catherine Henry, Clodagh O'Keefe, Eimear Hardiman, Ella Cummins, Emma Nesbit, Jessica Woods, Lorna Dunne
Bainisteoiri: Ian Nesbit & Kevin Hardiman

U10 Camogie

Avondale Blitz
Saturday,  4th July - 10.30

We played three matches in the Blitz. The first was a tough one against a very stong Avondale team and it was mostly a defensive effort on our part which left the girls feeling a bit down after.  Saibh took a bad hit on the knee and couldn't play on (she's ok now though) . After a few refreshments the team were raring to go again and it's to their great credit that they could lift themselves to play two great games against Greystones and Kilcoole and to win both of them. Lucy got two goals to try to keep up with her sister on the U8's. Suffice to say the mood was slightly better at the end.

Foireann: Cara Mahony, Ella Cummins, Emily Ryan, Lucy Gibson, Jasmine Kennedy, Niamh Clancy, Niamh Mahony, Saibh Smierciak, Tara Maher
Bainisteoir: Lisa Mahony
