2002/2003 Group entertain St Cronan's

Thursday, March 8, 2012

On Tuesday 6th March, the 2002/2003 Group entertained St Cronan's 3rd and 4th Classes. We were overwhelmed with the numbers that turned out from both sides with roughly 75 boys and 1 girl!! playing in wet and windy conditions. Everybody had a good time and enjoyed themselves, with a lot of budding stars on the St Cronan's teams displaying their skills. We would like to thank Tommy Carroll, Karl Lacey and Mr Dave Barry (who recently retired from St Cronans) in organising the event. We would particularly like to compliment the St Cronans children and their parents for turning up on the night. We will be repeating the event again in a few weeks time with St Cronans in an effort to raise the profile of Gaelic Games and the Club in the town.

Anyone who played in the games will always be welcome to come along to Old Conna to train with the club, players born in 2001 train on Thursdays at 7.00 and on Saturdays at 11.00, with Brian Lambe mobile number 087-6970589 the contact person. Players born in 2002 or 2003 train on Tuesday nights at 7.00 and on Saturdays at 10.00 to 12.00 with Tom Kearney mobile number0863983399 the main point of contact.
