The Dad and Me/Mum and Me Hurling/Camogie Programme is an initiative by the Bray Emmets Academy consisting of a 4 week programme whereby the mother or father accompanies her daughter or son to their usual training session and takes part. The Programme takes place at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday mornings on the 3G pitch in Emmet Park with helmets and hurls being provided on the morning for parents. A tutor is appointed to look after the parents whilst the children go with their usual coach.  For the first 20 minutes of the session parents will learn a new skill of the game and practice it before heading out to join their sons and daughters to pass on this knowledge and skill for the next 20 minutes. (These skills will not be difficult and very easy to pick up).  This is an opportunity for dads and mums to learn the basic skills of Hurling/ Camogie and coaching as well as having great fun with their son or daughter. You can come down any Saturday morning over the next 2 weeks if you wish to participate. Mum and Me Camogie continues on Monday evenings at 7.30 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome.
