A brief roundup of some of the juvenile games played this week:
Monday, December 5, 2011
Friday night was busy at the club grounds in Old Conna;
the under 12's had their final game of the season followed by
refreshment s and presentations in the clubhouse to mark the
end of what has been a very busy eight months. Whilst they were
enjoying themselves, the under 14 boys played a challenging
game on the 3G against Dublin side St Anne's and under
lights we hosted a game between Rathnew and Blessington. Saturday
afternoon saw the under 10 girls football team travel to Dolphins
Barn to play Templeogue Synge Street and put in a strong
performance under difficult windy conditions whilst the U12 Camogie
players hosted some south Dublin teams for the second of their
winter blitzes.
On Saturday morning Bray Emmets under 9 footballers hosted local
team Foxrock Cabinteely and the under 10/11 hurlers had a hurling
challenge against Whitehall Colmcille. The U10/U11 Bray lads teamed
up very well, both in terms of spirit and physicality. While the
visitors were a far bigger side, players like Gavin Henderson,
David Maloney and Rory Lambe eagerly applied themselves to the
task. We may have been beaten on the scoreboard, but the team
showed its considerable promise for 2012.Táimid ag traenáil fós ar
an Máirt is ar an Satharn. Fáilte roimh chách ! Emmet Bhré
