The U14 Camogie team hosted Kilcoole in Páirc Emmet Bhré Monday 12th June. The game was played in a very good sporting spirit and the tussles were keenly contested throughout. However, with full-back Róisín Benville impervious, and Áine Farrell and the Canavan sisters with radars honed – Bray Emmets were always going to offer a Tour de force. The night ended in a Bray win which delighted team Mentors, Neal O’Doherty and Eugene Canavan.
Beidh an chéad chluiche eile in aghaidh Chill Téagáin.

The game was very close all through, with Ballinacor leading at later stages – but Bray Emmets had a purple patch in the final 10 minutes which lead to deserved scores and accompanying kudos. | Under 14 Camogie | 4 February, 2017 |
The Under 14 Camogie team played a friendly against Kilmacud Crokes on Saturday 4th Feb. This was our first outing of the new year and a welcome opportunity to cast off the cobwebs. There were many reasons for optimism in the first-half. Ellen O’Doherty, Áine Farrell and Fionnuala Crowley were very lively, while young players Laura Doyle and Emma Nesbitt both got some fine scores.
In the second-half, Amy Butler, Sarah Lambe and Mary-Anne Aherne showed the value of last year’s Féile experience. Bray Emmets won this game, thanks in no small part to the hard work of Róisín Benville, Madge Redmond and Alannah Harrington. Bhí Neal O’Doherty an-sásta nuair a labhair sé leis na cailíní i ndiaidh an chluiche.

| Under 14 Camogie : Feile 2016 | 17 June, 2016 |
The U14 Camogie team took part in the National Camogie Féile in Tipperary/Waterford last weekend, 17th-19th June. Bray Emmets were most warmly hosted by Rockwell Rovers, New Inn, South Tipperary.
On Friday, we had two tight games defeating Moycarkey/Borris (Tipperary) and Castleblaney (Monaghan) in the second contest. Spirits were high Friday evening.
Saturday morning, in what was possibly our pièce de résistance, we accounted for host club, Rockwell Rovers (Tipperary). The dye was cast. Only the elite teams remained. We faced Drom and Inch (Tipperary), the stomping ground of Séamus Callanan, the premier county's goal-machine. And their girls were of similar mindset. Despite the grittiest and bravest of Bray displays, we finished on the wrong side of a 3-0 to 1-1 score line. Initial heartbreak, but on fairer reflection the team did themselves and their families very proud. Maith sibh, a chailíní uilig ! Rinne sibh éacht d'Emmet Bhré.

Emmet Bhré 3-1 vs Na Fianna 0-0.
The U14 Camogie team played a tall, physical Glasnevin outfit, Saturday 7th May out near the eardrum booming Dublin Airport. Despite the final score-line, many of the exchanges were tough-fought and well-earned by the tenacious Bray girls. To the fore were centre-back Laura McGarry, Síofra Ní Mhidigh and Caoimhe Byrne.
Although Bray led at the interval, all hands were needed on deck throughout the second-half as Na Fianna battled tigerishly. Players that made very commendable contributions were Madge Redmond, Úna Smierciak, Mary-Anne Aherne and Catherine McGarry. Bhí na traenálaithe ar fad, Larry Smierciak ina measc, sásta go maith ag deireadh an chluiche.

| Wicklow Camogie Feile | 23 April, 2016 |
The U14 Camogie squad won the Wicklow Féile qualifiers on Sat, 23rd April. There was great excitement in Páirc Emmet Bhré as the girls beat Carnew, drew with Knockanana, beat Avondale, accounted for Aughrim in the semi-final, and eventually overcame Donard to top the day. Mentors and parents were thrilled by the sequences of skill, teamwork and spirit.

Bray emmets Vs St Brigids, Castleknock
The U14 Camogie team played St Brigids, Castleknock, Sat 6 June in very gusty conditions in Russell Park. Bray played into the swirling wind in the first-half keeping a tidy and tight defence. Sara Davis, Shauna O’Kelly and Jordan O’Brien best displayed the Bray resolve.
The second-half was a welcome change of fortune. We had the wind at our backs, coupled with hungry graft from Lauren Healy, Rachel Messitt and Róisín Murphy in particular. The hurling flowed more freely and the Brigids rear-guard were plundered and pillaged. In the final analysis, Bray were victorious by (3-5) to (2-3). Bhí Anne Carroll agus Tomás sona sásta leis an toradh seo.

| Camogie Féile | 18 April, 2015 |
The U14 Camogie team made their own little piece of Bray Emmets history, by being the first Camogie team to qualify through Wicklow for the National Camogie Féile on Sat 18th April. Six games were played. Five victories, over Knockanana (2-0), Kiltegan (3-1), Carnew (4-1), Donard (2-4) and Carnew (5-1) again in the semi-finals. The final game after extra-time was won by Knockanana by (2-1), so they topped the qualification.
This was a huge squad effort, led by the experienced Eleanor Carroll-Hayes, Rachel Rice and Leah Carroll in particular. Defence was a major corner-stone and in that regard Lauren Healy, Sarah Davis and Laura McGarry were to the fore. Mentors, Anne Carroll and Paul Sweeney were also very complimentary of the younger players contribution – Amy Butler, Sarah Lambe and Catherine McGarry. Other players that earned spectator admiration were Shauna O’Kelly, Alannah Henry and Jordan O’Brien. Tá na cailíní ag tnúth go mór le Féile na nGael anois i gCúige Uladh.

| U14 Camogie | 7 September, 2014 |
Emmet Bhré 4-6, Donard 2-0.The U14 Camogie team contested the ‘B’ championship final against Donard, Sun 7 September. Conditions in Ballinaclash were ideal for a good game and that’s exactly what we were treated to. Rachel Rice and the goal-scoring Olivia McGarry were peerless and focused from the opening seconds, while Grace Brown, Laura Butler, Jane Butler, Eimear Martin, Lauren Mc Kenna, Brona Murphy and Olivia Duffy defended and attacked with vigour. It was the hard graft done by so many players in the first-half that laid the foundations for the second-half harmony that followed. Eleanor Hayes-Carroll ignited the full-forward division taking home a personal tally of 2-2, not before Donard stunned Bray with two very well taken goals. However, a smart Tricia Phelan goal followed, with more scores from Carroll-Hayes and Leah Carroll seeing the game over the Brí Chualann line. Substitute Lauren Healy, Alannah Barry, Allie Byrne, Nicole Ryan and Doireann Downey also made note-worthy impacts on the final result. A squad of 24 travelled to Donard on Sunday however only seventeen players were allowed take part. In the earlier rounds of the championship the contributions of Alannah Henry, Erika Bellamy, Shauna Kelly, Siofra Ni Mhidigh, Sarah Lambe,Liadainn Downey, Sasha Ni Laoghaire, Shauna Ryan, and Clare Benville were all telling in the teams progression to last Sundays final. Claiming the championship wrapped up another successful season for the girls who had earlier in the year secured mid-table status in Dublin Division 3. Finally, we would like to acknowledge the help and support of all the parents and family members throughout the season. Comhgairdeas iontach mór leis na cailíní ar fad.... |

The U14 Camogie team travelled to Kiltegan on Mon 11 August. From the throw-in, Bray stole a march on the local girls. Jane Butler and Tricia Phelan played cleverly, creating openings for the free-scoring Erika Bellamy. By half-time, Bray had built up an impressive tally. This continued in the second-half, with Olivia Duffy and Grace Browne showing their ability. Bray continued their dominance until the final whistle, empowered by performances from Shauna O'Kelly, Nicole Ryan and Eimear Martin. Bhí Séamus agus Anne Carroll an-sásta leis an mbua.

The U14 Camogie team had a successful friendly-fixture against Naomh Ólaf in Páirc Emmet Bhré, Mon 5 May. The game was beneficial for both sides, and especially for the Bray girls as a pre-Féile preparation. The team was back-boned by the skillful Rachel Rice, with Jane Butler and Olivia McGarry working hard around the middle. Very good scores came from Olivia Duffy and Doireann Ní Dhúnaí among others, while Leah Carroll and Shauna O'Kelly made significant contributions also. | U14 Camogie V Knockanna | 25 September, 2010 |
On Saturday 25th of September the U14 Camogie team travelled to
Glenealy to play Knockanna in the Shield Final. We qualified for
the final by beating Kilcoole and Avondale in previous rounds. We
agreed with Knockanna to play the full pitch and 15 a side this was
to ensure all 21 players got to play. Knockanna ran out deserved
winners but not after a very determined performance from the Bray
girls. The Bray girls fought hard for every ball and made Knockanna
work hard for there scores. The girls have shown a massive
improvement this year and to think they are all U14 again next year
bodes very well for the future. So well done girls on a good year
and keep up the good work. Panel of players Sophie Mooney, Emma
Groves, Amy Barry, Shannon Scanlon, Sarah Hayde, Oisín Mooney,

On Sunday 19th September, the Camogie U14 played Glenealy in a
rearranged League fixture in Emmet Park. Due to the unavailability
of a number of girls it was time to use our panel and they didn't
let us down. The final score was 2:1 to 2.1 a draw. In a low
scoring match we had our keeper Amy Barry to thank for the number
of outstanding saves she made throughout the match. We had enough
chances up front but were unable to take them against a good
Glenealy defence. It was another outstanding display from all the
girls, epical mention to Rachel Hand who was outstanding again.
