The u14 girls' football team had their first game of the season
on Sunday in Old Conna. In a high scoring challenge match against
St Jude's from Dublin both teams displayed some fine football
skills. Deirdre O'Rourke, Caoimhe Martin and Caoimhe Conroy made
their debut with Bray Emmets and acquitted themselves extremely
well.
Thanks to all the parents and supporters who turned out and
helped with pitch set up etc. While St Jude's came out the winners
in the end it was a very enjoyable match. The girls start their
league with their first match in Lucan on Sunday. It was great to
see the number of girls turning up and the effort they put in.
