U10 Girls travel to Castleknock

13 April, 2013

The Under-10 Girls Football team played in a St Brigid's Castleknock blitz Saturday last. They had three competitive, energy sapping games. In the first, solid defence from Méadhbh Wogan-Murphy and Aoife Gorman helped the hungry forwards get vital scores. An incisive goal from Eimear Timmons led to a Bray victory. In the second game, feisty midfielders Amy Butler and Sarah Lambe got the all-important scores while Emma Brandon and Rosanna Turner provided the essential ball supply for that to happen. In the third game, Sarah Maguire was the tormenter-in-chief running up 2-1 on the scoreboard. Ellen O'Doherty and Fay Whelan also caught the eyes of the appreciative spectators. Bhí bainisteoir na foirne an-sásta leis na cailíní ar fad a chomhoibrigh go héifeachtach le chéile.
