Minor Hurling Championship: Bray  1-13, Glenealy 3-1.

Bray Emmets were victorious in Rathnew on Sunday morning in the Minor Championship semi final defeating Glenealy fairly easily by 6 points. Glenealy were never in the game and Bray led at half time by 1-7 to 0-1. Bray had played with the aid of the breeze and nothing was getting through to our fullback line and goalkeeper. David Houghton, Aaron Murphy and Paul Cunningham were cleaning up around the centre and Tom Cash was doing the scoring up front.

In the second half we relaxed a little and Glenealy came into the game and scored 2 goals from 20 metre frees. They got their third goal right on full time and this merely took the bad look off the scoreboard. There were some fine individual displays particularly Paul Cunningham and David Houghton. Of the younger players Mikey Lee, Dara Maloney and Harry Stephenson did well. Overall Bray were too skillfull for Glenealy and could have won by a lot more.

Bray: Mikey Lee, Ronan Cunningham, Lorcan Pratt, Killian Molloy, Dara Maloney, Paul Cunningham, Harry Stephenson, Aaron Murphy (0-1), David Houghton (0-1), Aaron Shortt, Eoin Brazil (0-2), Gearoid O'Murchu (0-2), John Henderson (0-1), Tom Cash (1-6), Matthew Keating, Hugh Douglas, John Conroy , Niall O'Suilleabhain.
