U14 Hurlers V St . Peregrine's

18 June, 2011

On Saturday afternoon the team made the trip to Blanchardstown to face St . Peregrine's. To date we have had some mixed results in Dublin league and we were really looking for a win.  Leading from the front was Michael Boland with 5-17, a hugely impressive score for one player.  Gareth Bryne made his return our team in style with a well taken score and and Gavin Dowling who has also recently returned to hurling stuck over a neat point.  St. Peregrines never gave up and tested our backs in the second half. Daniel Kennedy and Kevin Spaine worked hard and performed well showing huge improvements.  At midfield Patrick Michel was our ground hurling specialist showing the advantage of pulling on the ball straight away and delivering fast ball into our forwards. Well done to all.
