Bray 4-6, Carnew 5-1.

Bray travelled to Carnew on Saturday evening and slept their way through a very close encounter. While  we were short a good few of the Feile team we never really got going and were 3 goals down in the first 10 minutes. We awoke for a while and with 3 goals, all as a result of  long range frees came back to lead at half time by 3-4 to 3-1. We continued in the same vein and another lucky goal from a long range free put us well ahead however Carnew took over and we gave up 2 more goals of slightly higher quality than ours to leave ourselves hanging on for the last 5 minutes which included a 21 yards free against us that Carnew did not convert. Diarmuid Masterson was our best player and Danny O'Toole tried hard and will be a great hurler in the future

Overall our attitude was very poor and we did not give Carnew enough respect and nearly paid the price.
