Bray had their second under 14 Division 3 game last Wednesday against Kilbride Lacken. Missing players due to injury, sickness and holidays a number of 2003s were drafted in to ensure the game went ahead. Playing with the wind in the first half, Bray started well with Cathal and Gavin scoring a number of well worked points, Kilbride found it difficult to get into the game due to the hard working midfield of Eoin and Tadhg with the half back line of

Philip and Daniel breaking up a number of attacks. Bray continued to dominate with Eoin and Gordon working hard upfront with Evan scoring an excellent goal to give Bray a good lead. However Kilbride came more into the match but the full back line of Donal and Jamie allied with the good work in goal by Art ensured Bray were 11 points ahead at half time.

Now playing into the breeze and up the hill Bray immediately came under pressure with Daniel and Philip really upping their game to stop Kilbride getting the scores they needed. Jamie and Donal were very solid in the full back line ensuring the Cathal now in goal was well protected.

As the game wore on Bray gained the upper hand in midfield with Tadhg and Eoin working really hard to break up attacks and set up the extremely dangerous Evan (remember the name) and Gavin (already well known!!) for attempts on goal, Eoin Art and Gordon continued to work so hard to ensure Kilbride never got into any rhythm and finishing in almost total darkness Bray ran out winners.
This was another good performance with everyone contributing to the win.

Thanks to all the parents who made the journey hopefully we will get to play a game in calm and dry conditions as the season goes on.
