First outing for the U13 hurlers
28 February, 2013
The U-13 Hurlers had their first outing in this year's
Dublin league last Thursday, 28th February against Faughs. On a
fine night, Bray got off to a lively start with early points from
Rory Lambe. More good combinations saw a clinical Ben Kearney
score two goals, while Macdara Ó Midheach and Sid Hunt worked
feverishly in the engine rooms. The second-half saw the
introduction of super-sub Cian Lohan who went on to become the
leading scorer on the night. Lochlainn Dougan was another man who
gave an eye-catching display in the half-back berth, tirelessly
reading the game while linking up with David Kennedy and Joe
Phelan. Final score: Emmet Bhré 6-6, Faughs 1-2. Bhí
bainisteoir na foirne an-sásta lena fhoireann.
