Bray Vs St Pats Palmerstown

Bray Emmets under 12 hurlers continued their recent run of good form winning away against St Pats Palmerstown on Saturday last.

The team lost the toss and had to play against a strong breeze during the first half. They fought off a number of determined Pats attacks but scored when they had the chance and led 1-5 to 1-1 at half time.

With a few words of encouragement and warnings from parents that a wind never won match the team set about their second half business. They played with continued vigour and tenacity and despite missing a couple of early chances soon had the scoreboard ticking over. The Pats keeper was always the busier of the two but when called upon the Bray backs harried their opponents and launched balls into Pats final third. This paid dividends and team ran out comfortable winners as Emmets finished with a final tally of 7-9 to 1-3.
