U-12 Hurlers battle to the end

27 April, 2013

The U-12 Hurlers faced Oliver Plunketts on the Navan Road, Saturday 27th April. The opposition were very strong and the first half proved to be an uphill battle for Bray Emmets. Goals were conceded goals when the marking could have been a lot tighter but Gavin Henderson and David Maloney deservedly got their names on the scoreboard.
The second-half saw a much improved display from Emmets. Hard work in the defence from a commanding Michael Timmons and up front from Luke Brandon and Aaron Graham, allowed Fionn Dougan to grab a thundering goal. Scores followed from Rory Lambe and an excellently taken free from marksman, Seán McDonagh. Our spirits were lifted, but this game was won in the end by a more formidable Plunketts team. Bhí na traenálaithe sásta leis an iarracht sa deireadh.
