U12 Boys football update

20 May, 2013

The U-12 Boys played An Tóchar last Monday, 20th May. In this contest Bray opened well. Early running was done by Aaron O'Rourke and Michael Timmons. Sebastian Coleman also chipped in with a fine personal score. In the second-half however, Roundwood got some well-taken goals which proved costly. Despite the best efforts of Jamie Baguley, David Maloney and Rory Lambe, the altitude training done by the opposition conspired to seal their victory.  Mar sin féin, cluiche bhreá oscailte a bhí ann.
An Tóchar 5 - 5,  Emmet Bhré  2 - 11.
Emmet Bhré – Under 12.  Aaron Graham, Aaron O'Rourke (0-1), Conor Hardiman, Daniel Munro, Darragh McCormack, David Maloney, Fionn Dougan, Jamie Baguley (0-2), Josh Pyper, Michael Timmons, Rian Knox, Rory Lambe (1-6), Seán McDonagh (1-1), Sebastian Coleman (0-1).  Bainisteoir - Brian Lambe.
The U-12 Footballers played in a tournament on Sunday organised by Kilmacud Crokes. This was a really well-organised, enjoyable afternoon. In game one, we accounted for Naomh Olaf in a very satisfying encounter. Conor Dowling was rampant with Conrad Ruddy superb in goal. In game two, despite good goals from Rory Lambe and Gavin Henderson, Foxrock got more points from play which saw them triumph. Josh Pyper was excellent in goal. In game three, we faced the home team, Kilmacud. Although Sean McDonagh got an important goal and Richard Meaney and Aaron Graham fought hard, the Stillorgan boys dominated in the scoring stakes. Bhíomar fíor-bhuíoch do na tuismitheoirí ar fad a tháinig ar an lá.
