U12 footballers V Blessington

The Under 12 boys Football squad played 2 games against Blessington in a combined-results final on Saturday afternoon in Roundwood. Emmet Bhré were victorious by more than 20 points which was a very pleasing conclusion to our season. 

Andrew Conway captained his team, and both himself and Mick O'Gara lead by example. Joe Phelan captained his team and a great effort was made by all on the team. Ben Connolly in goals made a great save and Darragh scored a great goal in second half. Jamie played well taking three points and Paddy played well after moving out midfield as did David Maloney in defence. David Nesbit came on as sub in second half scoring a goal and Tony Jackson also scored in first half. Jacob was inspired in first half and also scored
