Bray Emmets Vs St Patrick's Palmerstown v

The U-11 side put in a fine performance, leading to a convincing win against St. Patrick's Palmerstown on Saturday morning.

Although the final scoreline would suggest a very one-sided game, the match was really much closer over most parts of the 50 minutes, with Bray having to work hard for their victory. Bray led by 1-4 to 0-0 at half-time, with all of the scores at that stage coming from team captain Adam Prunty.

He added another 2 goals soon after the break, and ultimately finished the match with a tally of 5-5! There were, however, fine performances throughout the team, with further scores coming from Jack Kearney, Alex Colgan and Finn Tracey.

There were moments of fine skill demonstrated from several of the Bray players, with one pick-up and pass from Shane Baguley in the first half being amongst the best that this coach has ever seen.

Cillian Murphy, Cathal MacMaolain and James Byrne all combined well to keep the St Pat's forwards scoreless, while Jamie Healy, Jamie Mooney and Nathan Hunter kept their defenders busy throughout, and it was much of their good play which created the opportunities for others to take their scores.
