Busy weekend for U11 hurlers

The U11 hurlers had a busy 2 days playing Lucan Sarsfield Friday night and Liffey Gaels Saturday morning.   The Friday night game in Lucan was contested under lights and was a competitive fixture. David Maloney scored 1-4 from midfield, while up front David Martin fought hard for breaking ball. Bray Emmets finished well but the opposition's lead from the 1st half was never going to be assailed. On Saturday morning, the fare with Liffey Gaels was nip and tuck. Rory Lambe in goal for the first-half, made a number of fine saves. Michael Timmons and Sean McDonagh were commanding in their defensive lines. In midfield, Rian Knox was further developing his new role. Jamie Baguley worked tirelessly and landed a fine score, while Nick Hederman and Aaron Graham also acquitted themselves well.
