The U11 Boys Football team
played in the annual Kilmacud Crokes Football tournament Sunday
last. In the group stages, we defeated St Anne's, Kilmacud and St
Judes. In the final we beat Tyrrelstown - all offering tough
opposition - but Bray Emmets were in flying form. From David
Maloney at the back, Conor Dowling prowling midfield, to Rory Lambe
prolific up front, Bray were always going to be difficult to
overcome. David Martin did very well in his debut tournament, David
Nesbitt in the half-forward line provided invaluable link-play and
Rian Knox obligingly played Goalie/out-field when required. This
was a great squad performance. Darragh McCormack accepted the
winners trophy on our behalf. Buíochas mór le Brenda Maloney agus
Debbie McDonagh a rinne picnic mhór do na buachaillí/tuismitheoirí
ar fad.
