28 January, 2012
The under 11s welcomed Foxrock Geraldines to Bray for a football
match on Saturday 28th January, conditions were ideal with no wind
(a contrast to the gales they played in the week
before). The teams played 14 aside with Bray adapting
well to the tighter spaces. Gavin Henderson and Jamie Baguley
worked tirelessly up and down the pitch. Aaron Graham used his
height well, making several assured catches from high balls.
Michael Timmons in defence ensured that the Foxrock had very little
time on the ball. Conor Dowling frequently turned defence into
attack with long accurate clearing kicks from the back to his
forwards. The final score 4-8 to 1-9 in Bray's favour reflected the
overall team performance and the progress the lads are making.
