Two Saturdays ago on a cool breezy morning with the constant threat of rain in the air we visited Ballyboden's second team. This was an exciting game of end to end football from the vary start. Both teams played attractive running football and each used their teammates to good effect. What cost Bray's green team this game was a little bit of naivety in defence. At times some of our defenders roamed up the field to aid an attack but were slow to get back to cover the counter attack. This left us a defender short and 'Boden exploited this for goals whereas our corresponding attacks mostly yielded points.

One notably tactic from this game was the lads use of the short 45 to a teammate running up from deep. Three times we scored points from this tactic and it was a sign that teamwork is coming to the fore in this squad. Also, by rotating positions  throughout the match as lads got tired we ended up with everybody getting on the score sheet (5-11).

Man of the match on the day was Conan O'Duill for sheer effort, he showed for every kickout, made the tackles when required and moved the ball to the forwards with great precision.
