Bray Emmets 7-13  Cuala 2-5

It was our first hurling game since the summer holidays in Division 1, Dublin. So far we had played two, won two. We wanted to continue where we had left off. And that's what our guys did. They were on fire from the word go and gave a brilliant display of hurling against Cuala. Without exception, the work rate was immense. No need to go to Cork to see the rock. We had our own in Padraig Doyle who never put a foot wrong in defence and was ably assisted by Patrick Michel, Conor McNally, Gavin Dowling, and Liam Benville.

At centrefield Michael Boland and Thomas Foley were always on top. Michael scored an amazing 7 goals and 8 points with some excellent taken goals and whose free taking was impeccable. Two beautiful points were scored by Thomas and his first touch was a joy to watch. There were some wonderful sideline cuts by Cuala and one beauty which ended up in the net.

In the forward line Conor Prendergast, Dylan Terry and Conor O'Doherty always looked dangerous with Dylan scoring two points and one from Conor O'Doherty . The forwards always kept pressure on the Cuala defence preventing any long clearances.
