Tom Ryan Indoor Hurling Tournament
22 January, 2011
The Under 10 hurlers played in the second round of the 'Tom Ryan
Indoor Hurling Tournament' Saturday last. The opening game saw Bray
facing Aughrim. Having had our indoor hurls 'shortened' during the
week by Dublin hurler and Hurley-maker, Peadar Carton, the
seasiders were a far more potent force up front.Rian Knox stood out
for his efforts. The second game against Michael Dwyers
was the toughest. The tall, strong side were held, in no short
measure, by the clinical defensive qualities of Darragh McCormack
and Michael Timmons. The last game pitched us against
host-club, St Patricks. Again, the Emmet Bhré machine guns were in
fifth gear, Aaron Graham, Conor Hardiman and the industrious Brian
Nesbitt playing a large part.
Beimid ag imirt cluiche chairdiúil in aghaidh Naomh Olaf ar an
Satharn beag seo.
