U10 Hurlers V Ballyboden St Endas

9 July, 2011

Emmet Bhré  2 - 1

Ballyboden St Endas       1-10

Bray Emmet's Under 10 hurlers played their second match in the Roundtowers hurling tournament on Saturday morning against a very strong Ballyboden team. Despite a huge difference in size the Bray lads got to work and did not rest until the final whistle blew. Seán McDonagh quickly scored a goal from a free. Philip Jakob did not let the difference in size deter him and marked his man completely out of the match. Rian Knox played in goal, the only worry is that if any soccer scouts had seen him they will surely be trying to sign him up as he saved at least 4 certain goals. Jamie Baguley did not stop running the whole match and capped a selfless performance with a well taken goal. David Maloney maintained his normal excellent standards with another high octane match including a point from a free.

Emmet Bhré - Under 10.  Aaron Graham, Conor Hardiman, Darragh McCormack, David Maloney (0-1), Gavin Henderson, Jack Treacy, Jamie Baguley (1-0), Philip Jakob, Rian Knox, Sam Kearney, Seán McDonagh (1-0).
