Under 10’s Girls 19th October 2009 A Team of 20 girls travelled up to Laragh on Saturday morning for the end of season Under 10’s Blitz. We had to split our group into 2 teams, with each team getting to play 3 matches. Their opposition included Arklow AGB1 & AGB2, St. Pat’s Wicklow 1 & 2, Coolkeeno, An Tochar and Naomh Eanna Gorey. The girls put on fine display in all their matches with all their training starting to pay off. It was tough going with 3 matches one after the other, but their fitness again is coming on well. Thank you to all the supporters who travelled from Bray and to all the girls who put a lot of effort into their matches: The girls were presented with a medal by the County Ladies Senior Team. Team: Ellen Beattie, Vicki Crummins, Lorna Flanagan, Alannah Douglas, Claire Flaherty, Rachel & Sarah Flynn, Brona Murphy, Molly & Alice Fitzgerald, Eimear Martin, Maeve O’Doherty, Eve Cunnane, Doireann Downey, Laura Cahill, Claire Benville, Sadhbh Kavanagh, Lauren Hetherington, Lauren McKenna, Allie Byrne.
Girls Under 10's Wicklow Blitz: 22nd June 2009 On Friday 19th June Laragh hosted the second under 10 blitz. A huge crowd was there to watch all the matches. Bray Emmets entered 2 teams into the competition, Bray A & Bray B. Between them they had 7 matches of 10 minutes a half. Both teams played really well and managed to secure some fine goals and points. They played in all areas of the field, showing some fine skills which they have been learning in training. At the end of the competition we had 4 wins out of the 7 games. Well done girls, keep up the good training. See you all in August when training resumes.
Under 10's Girls Dublin League 11th May 2009
Tomas Davis Tallaght 12pts - Bray Emmets 12 pts It was the second game for the Bray girls, they travelled to a fine Astro Turf pitch in Tallaght. The match got off to a great start and both teams gave it all with a great show of skill. The Bray girls were the first to secure a couple of scores and at the end of the 1st half were winning. But at the start of the second half Tallaght got back into the game and put fine scores in themselves and had Bray under pressure. The bray girls didn’t drop their heads and kept Tallaght at bay. They showed some fine teamwork and move the ball well between them. Well played girls, your hard work is really showing - keep up your training.

The first game against the Arklow girls, from the start the girls were showing all their skills that they had practised in training. Some great hand passes, kicking and tackling. They played very well together as a team and managed to achieve some great scores. The Arklow girls also played very well and it was a really enjoyable match to watch.
