Under 12 footballers
A selection of Bray Emmets Under 12 footballers played during the half time interval of the recent 1/4 final between Mayo and Donegal. Against Ballyhaunis GAA club they displayed a wide range of attacking and defensive skills to run out convincing winners. Despite playing in front of 61,000 people they showed a complete lack of inhibition in their play and were in no way overawed by the occasion. However what was more pleasing was the fact that every player contributed in a positive manner to the match and they fully deserved the very warm applause they received as they came off the Croke Park pitch.
Many thanks to Frances, Gary and Croke Park for their help in organising our great day out.
Players: Oscar M, Conor D, Finn, Luan, Conor M, Evan, Gavin, Cian, Oscar H, Michael and Eoin.

With that in mind I request you to forward all your material for inclusion to the following email address firstname.lastname@example.org
Please Note: Due to the pressure of production timelines we will not be in a position to accept submissions for inclusion in the year book after Saturday October 31st

Intermediate Hurling Championship 2nd round
Last Friday the 31st of July we played our second match in intermediate hurling championship against Barndarrig in Newcastle. We had the bare bones of a team going down as Matt, Lorcan, Jordan, were away Bracker, Harry, and Paul Barry injured, none the less we had fifteen or sixteen good hurlers on board and were ready to do battle, unfortunately Barndarrig were also without players and didn’t have the strength in depth that we had. The match was over by half time and proved only to be a run out for our lads, the final score was 9.22 to 3 points, our full forward line “went to town”, Tom Cash 4.7, Liam Kenny 2.3 and Brian Duggan 2.4 with some really well worked scores, great passing movements between them, others to shine were, Captain Daragh Maloney(2) who is in great form those days, Ben McCormack(4) one of our shinning lights for the future , Ryan Tynan(1.1) Luke O’Reilly(1) and a half back line rock solid of Cathal Reddin, Peter Conroy and Barry Cunningham. There is one thing for sure it is going to take a good team to beat us and places will be at a premium, there are a number of these players knocking on the door for a place on the senior team and we will do well to hold on to a few of them. I would like to thank all the members of the senior team for going down, helping and supporting us, Peter Walsh for the warm up, Diarmuid and Paddy on the water, Harry on the stats, Jackie on the list, and then we have the support within the club great to see ye all there, not sure when the next match is but training is tonight Tuesday at seven.
