Club Notes 10th February

Monday, February 10, 2014

Lotto
There was no Match 4 winner of the Club Lotto on Friday, 7th February when the numbers drawn were 6, 7, 9 and 5 so next week, the jackpot goes up to €6,500. If you're not already signed up please do so as not only are you in with a chance to win a serious Jackpot but you are also helping support your local club. It is €2 per week but goes a long way towards running all the facilities that we have. John J Smith was the name drawn in the Lucky Dip and will receive €25. Further details are available at www.brayemmets.com.

Awards Night
Bray Emmets will have their adult awards night on Friday 21st February 2014 at the Martello Hotel, Bray Seafront. The awards for Players of the Year and Club Person of the Year will be presented on the night. The club appreciates the current financial restraints on members and we are looking for membership so it will be a low cost night to ensure all can attend.

Membership
Bray Emmets's membership year runs from Jan 1st to Dec 31st. Subscriptions fall due on Jan 1st. All players, coaches, mentors and committee members must pay their membership to ensure they are insured whilst carrying out their roles within the club. Closing date for registration of all playing members (male and female), coaches and mentors is Sat 2nd March 2013. To register members are been asked to log into the clubs website www.brayemmets.com and click into Membership 2013 on main Home Page. Any problems please contact club registrar Phil Moynihan.

Juveniles / Academy
Registration for all Juvenile members is now due, the fees are the same as last year and there are a number of different packages which cater for families. Registration can be done online via the club website. Players are required to be registered from an insurance point of view and with a lot of the juvenile teams starting to play in competitions shortly all players must be registered. The Juvenile Section are always looking for new players at all ages, please feel free to visit the clubs webiste or visit our excellent facilities or contact the club for details. With the unpredictable weather that we are having at the moment, training on Saturdays can be called off at short notice, please check the Club's facebook page for updates for the academy section or coach your child's coach to confirm training.
GAA National Club Draw
A new initiative has been started at Croke Park where they are running a National Club Draw. This is an ideal opportunity for the club to raise some much needed funds to cover the running of the club. The great thing about this draw is that Croke Park are providing 10 fabulous prizes. Instead of the club members pockets being tapped in to it is a chance for members to sell tickets outside the club at home or work. All money raised by tickets sold by Bray Emmets stays in the Club. We would ask all members to take a book or two. More information on the prizes is attached in document. For tickets contact Dermot O'Brien or Dave Barry.

Camogie
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Camogie? If yes well why not call over to our pitches at Old Conna and give it a go. We are back training on Monday and Wednesday evenings, if interested in taking part contact Paul at 086 3934273. New Members always welcome!
