The Wicklow Scór competitions, (a chuireann Cultúr na hÉireann chun cinn) were hosted Saturday night last in the Brocagh Centre in Laragh. Bray Emmets were well represented across the various disciplines. Our talented Irish dancers were co-ordinated by Anne Longmore, and they included: Danielle Kennedy, Avril Byrne, Jenny Ryan and Anna Ryan. The musicians were in the capable hands of Áine Ní Fhéinne (Drury) and they included the following array of ability: Niamh Fitzsimons, Sadhbh Byrne, Eoin Fitzsimons, Rachel Cullen, Seona Michel and Caoimhe Lohan. Finally, we had 2 Tráth na gCeist teams. The strongest team, who finished second, were Meadhbh Ní Mhidigh, Aoife Connaughton and Aisling Moylan. Our second quiz team, given their young years acquitted themselves excellently finishing 3rd/4th. They were Macdara Ó Midheach, David Nesbitt and Rory Lambe.
