Colaiste Iosogain win All Ireland SF B

Monday, April 18, 2011

Congratulations to Bray Emmet's player Rachel Cunningham who was on the Colaiste Iosogain Dublin team which won the All Ireland SF B Final against Holy Rosary Convent Mountbellew in Roscommon on Saturday.

In an exciting game played in brilliant sunshine, Rachel was one of the Stillorgan school's star defenders as they held out to win by 2-9 to 1-10 against a very strong Galway side. It is the first time that Dublin have ever won an All Ireland  in any girl's grade. Rachel is captain of Bray Emmet's minor team and the 17-year-old was centre back on the senior team which won the Wicklow ladies senior football championship last year
