Under 17 Boys Inter County Football

We hosted a six county Leinster inter county under 17 football competition in Old Connaught last Saturday 30th Oct. The competition is organised to assist counties in preparing their minor team of 2011.The teams taking part were Carlow, Dublin, Laois, Louth, Wexford and Wicklow. Three games were played at the same time which facilitated the competition finishing at 2.30pm. The Wicklow manager, Hugh Kenny had a big panel available to him which included 5 of our players, Adam Conway, Nicky Sweeney, Tadgh Dornan, David Sullivan and Daire Lohan. Wicklow won one of their three games and would have done better in the other games if they had not missed many score able chances.
