The County Wicklow Scor Na Og was held on Saturday Evening in the Community Hall in Roundwood. Bray Emmet's entered two categories, Rince Roirne agus Trath Na gCeisteanna. Our dancers Rachel Cunningham, Jenny Ryan, Avril Byrne, and Siofra Heffernan, performed a beautiful four hand reel. I would like to commend the girls for their great effort, as they all had spent the day dancing at their Wicklow Championships. Our second entry (question time) was bestowed on three very brave U14 Lads, Patrick Cunningham, Ishmael Mnensa, and Cian Rowe. This was the biggest competition in the Scor. The Lads were outstanding and I would especially like to thank their Mentor Niall McCarthy for bringing them along. Although we were not winners on the night we faired very well in the Raffle. Bray took away no less than four Prizes. Jen Ryan won a four stone bag of potatoes to the delight of her father Frank. Many thanks also to Rosemary Cunningham, Niall McCarthy and Frank Ryan for their support. Again well done to all the Girls and Boys for taking part and supporting Bray Emmet's Club.
