Hurley Measurement Guide

Friday, December 10, 2010

Incorrect hurley sizes is an ongoing issue for many clubs, including Bray Emmets where using the incorrect hurley can affect a player skill level. The following is a measurement guide for the use of hurleys.

Hurley Measurement Guide :

Stand straight with your arms hanging by your side. The second person places their finger horizontally under the grip and stands the hurl by your side. Change size of the hurl until the finger meets your wrist bone. For faster, more effective improvement of your skills, and control of the sliotar, use the correct hurley size or even one slightly shorter.
