Golf Classic

The Bray Emmet's golf classic which was held on Thursday last in
beautiful weather was a great success.
There were over twenty teams participating. The winning score was 97 points, the winning team was Johnny Kench, Stephen McNicholas, David Finn and Rob Ryan, in 2nd place Robby Earls, John Traynor, Michael Hoffman and John Duggan, in 3rd Place Michael Lee, Joey Tyan, Ryan Tynan and Paul Tyan and in 4th place Colm Lynch, Brian Donnelly, Bobby Magee and Philip McCreddin. The longest drive went to Michael Horgan.

This is a very important fundraising event for the club.
Thanks also to all who helped to make this event such a success,
particular thanks to Anne and Ger Longmore for the wonderul BBQ,
Francis Stepheson and Mary Clarke who signed in the players and Tom
Mangan, our starter. Thanks also to all the people who
sourced players and sponsors and helped in the set up for the day,
the Plowers, Senior and Junior and Pat Lee.
Thanks also to Bray Golf Club who had the course and the facilities
in impeccable condition.
