Camogie Trip to Croke Park

Sunday, September 12, 2010

It Was A Busy Weekend For The Camogie Girls And Coaches. The U8/10 And U12 And U14 Girls Played Exhibition Matches At The Kick Fada Day In Old Conna On Saturday September 11th. The Official Opening Was Performed By Gaa President Christy Cooney.

The Next Day A Party Of 66 Travelled To The All Ireland Camogie Final In Croke Park. The Girls Enjoyed An Exciting, If Rather One Sided Final Where Wexford Emerged The Victors. As Always It Was A  Great Day Out For The Girls And Many Thanks To Paul Sweeney For His Organisation Of The Day Out And Thanks To The Coaches, Mentors And Parents Who Looked After The Girls.

We Wish The Very Best Of Luck To The U14 Girls Who Face Avondale In The Semi Final Of The Shield On Monday 13th. Finally A Reminder To All Coaches About A Coaching Course In Old Conna Clubhouse On Wednesday 22nd September.

We would like to thank the following for their recent sponsorship
