Bray Emmets Golf Classic 2009

The now annual Golf Classic was held in Bray Golf Club on Friday last. There were 25 teams playing who enjoyed a very pleasant game on an excellent golf course  in quite good weather conditions (apart from the high winds which made the golf challenging). The youthful winning team comprised Paul, Ryan and Joseph Tynan and their cousin Mike Lee obviously stars in golf as well as hurling and football! 

The first seven teams, the longest drive and nearest the pin received their prizes from TJ Foley of Portella Developments, who sponsored the main prizes

We sincerely thank all our sponsors, of which there were some thirty, for their generosity and all those who entered teams or played on the day.

We also thank all who helped make this a success, especially our BBQ specialists Anne and Ger Longmore, Frances Stephenson and Mary OBrien who welcomed the golfers, our starter Terry Mangan, our helpers on the day, Harry Stephenson, Mikey Lee and Ryan Tynan, and all our marketers who sought out sponsors and golfers with such enthusiasm.

Anybody who missed out this year, there is always next year!
