Wicklow Minors Lose to Wexford

Wicklow minors were beaten by Wexford in the Leinster Q/F in Aughrim last Sat. 10.5. A goal separated the teams and Wicklow could have sneaked a draw at the end but over the hour Wexford probably deserved their win. Hard luck to Hugh Kenny, his management team and especially the players for the great effort they gave this year. We will see the benefit of it over the next few years at under 21 and senior level. The Emmet's had three players on the team, Conor Power, Jordan Egan, Paul Cunningham and all three acquitted themselves very well. Well done lads
