Summer Camp

Monday, July 14, 2008

The Football camp was a great success last week and even though the weather has been very poor recently the camp enjoyed four good days. Overall there were over 100 participants with some 30 in the  nursery section alone.
Dara OhAnnaidh, Captain of Wicklow Senior footballers attended and made a presentation to the participants. Dara brought  the  Tommy Murphy Cup with him which gained a lot of attention from the boys and girls.
A sincere thank you to Dara and to all the coaches and assistants who helped make this a memorable week for all.
All are now looking forward to the hurling camp which is being held in the coming week.
