Senior Football team well supported as they make their way to Semi Final

Well done to our senior football team who successfully came through their quarter final match on Saturday, 30 August beating Baltinglass in a nail biting finish with a final score line of 0:9 to 0:8. The U10 squad had the honour of representing the club at the half time mini game during the match. 13 players made the trip and all got a run out on the Aughrim turf for the short game. During the senior match the lads contributed significantly to the noise level from the stand while cheering on the adult players. At the end of the game the lads lead a mini pitch invasion to be the first to congratulate their clubmates. Hopefully this was the first of many future appearances in Aughrim for these lads. The U10 squad on the day was Liam Carolan, Oisin Dougan, Owen Duffy, Stephen Finn, Ryan Hannon, Ben Hoskin, Mark Kenny, Jimmy Mason, Kevin Nolan, Fintan O'Shea, Philip Redmond, Kevin Spaine & Evan Sweeney.
