Deepest Sympathy

Thursday, September 25, 2008

It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Michael (Mick) Mangan, one of Bray Emmets' most notable  members. Mick, who was club President  at the time of his death, also held the posts of Chairman and Treasurer of the club over many fruitful years.

Mick, who originally hailed from Killorglin in Kerry  came to Bray in 1945  and from that time was a very loyal and effective member of Bray Emmets.

The club wishes to express its deepest sympathy to Mick's family,  his daughter Eileen and sons Tony, Terry and Tom.

As a mark of respect, the Club shop is closed and all Bray Emmets matches have been cancelled this weekend.

Removal from his home at Auburn, Killarney road to  arrive at St. Fergals church at 5.00pm on Saturday. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10.00 am followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery.
