As part of the development of coaching in the club, John Morrisson (of Armagh and Mayo fame) lead a very stimulating workshop in Old Conna on Saturday last. This was an extremely worthwhile exercise where the team mentors and management were introduced to the very latest in thinking on coaching. The Morrisson approach is based on very good understanding of coaching techniques, detailed planning, consistency of approach across the club, good record keeping and where every player is helped to achieve their potential.
