On Saturday we wrapped up 2008 with a Christmas Party at the Clubhouse. First on show was Reuben the Entertainer who amused both children and parents with his antics. This was followed on with a very special visit from Dara OHannaidh and Leyton Glynn. It was great to have both the Wicklow Captain and our Wicklow International Rules hero. Both Leyton and Dara presented medals, signed autographs and took time to speak to the children and pose for photos. Overall we had a good year and we now wish our Year 2000's the very best as they move in to the Juvenile scene. We also want to thank all of the Coaches who volunteer their time every week to make the Academy the success it is and the Officers of the club who are always there to support us. The Academy will now have a break until January when we will resume on Saturday 17th.
