Senior Ladies V Blessington

Bray Emmet's Senior Ladies played their Senior Cup game against Blessington on a very wet Friday evening. We travelled with only 10 players as many of our girls are completing the Leaving and Junior Cert examinations. The Wicklow Senior Ladies team were training in Blessington on Friday and agreed to give us 3 of our girls. We played 13 to 15 aside. It was a great game especially for our younger 15 and 16 new recruits. We played Jenny Ryan in goals and she made some great saves, I think she could be playing a new position soon. Our top scorer of the evening was Ashling Driver who notched up 2 goals and 1 point. Our younger girls Cathy Waters, Aoife and Grace O'Donovan and Siofra Heffernan played a stormer. We welcome back Ashling Ni Hannaidh, and look forward to all our girls coming back to training after their exams. Final Score Bray 2 - 7 Blessington 2 pts
