The junior hurlers travelled to Blessington last Wednesday to
play our west Wicklow opposition. In the first-half, Liam McGraynor
and Billy Brazil were kept busy and acquitted themselves with equal
fortitude. Daire Lohan is growing in experience and the talented
young player brought mobility to the Emmet Bhré midfield. In the
second-half, Peter O'Reilly and Luke Maloney showed keenly.
However, despite a Brian Lambe goal, the Western Gaels' half-back
line proved the difference between the two sides. Beidh an chéad
