Bray Emmets   5- 13

Barndarrig       3-4

This was the juniors second game in five days and the aim was to kick on from a hard fought one point win away to Avondale last Saturday.

This was definitely a game of two halves with Bray not performing to their potential in the first half and they trailed 1 -2 to 3-4 at half time.

Following a tough team talk Bray came out determinedly in the second half. The solid defence was complemented by the hunger and hard work of the forwards resulting in Barndarrig not scoring in the second half. Great scores from Aaron Murphy, Mick Byrne, Colm O Keeffe and midfielder Collie Browne turned the match around while captain Danny Eglington also contributed with a fine score. John Ward and PJ Farrell scored the crucial goals.

Billy Brazil, Dara Wade ,Darragh Maloney and Harry Stephenson  defended really well to ensure Bray ended with a comprehensive victory.

Bray: Mark Cowley, Darragh Moloney, Dara Wade, Dan Phelan, Billy Brazil, Danny Eglington (0-1),Harry Stephenson, Collie Browne (2-7), Aaron Murphy (0-2), Colm O'Keefe (0-1), John Ward (2-0)? Mick Byrne (0-2),PJ Farrell (1-0),Emmet Fitzgerald, Brian Lambe.
