Bray Emmets   3-5

Barndarrig       2- 6

Player-manager Dan Phelan and experienced co-selector Kieran Delaney were happy with the first outing of this new campaign. A very wet, heavy evening made the going tough but the industrious defence led by Billy Brazil and Danny Eglington worked hard. As the half went on, the Bray midfield assisted by Tommy Hammill came more into the fray. Good individual goals by Colm O'Keefe and Hammond kept the Bray side competitive.

Visibility became so poor in the 2nd half that the Referee had to abandon the game 20 mins from time. Unfinished business, but a useful outing for both teams.

On a different note, the long-serving Junior players would like to wish Goalkeeper and former manager, Mick Priest, the very best with his latest endeavour with Enniskerry, and to thank him for his outstanding service to our cause over the years. Our fingers are still crossed for the return of veteran full-back, Dara Wade
