Barndarrig
18 May, 2009
Bray got their 2008 Junior Hurling Championship campaign off to
a winning start away to Barndarrig recently. In a repeat of last
years Junior A semi final Bray made amends for their defeat that
day.
Both sides started well exchanging points, Colm Bowne with a free
and half back Dan Phelan scored the opening point of the
championship from play for Bray.
The game changed with a well taken goal from Jordan Lee
which left the scores 1-10 to 0- 8 at half time.
In the second half Bray were in the ascendancy with some fine
scores from all the forwards including Colm Salmon and Elliott
Douglas.
The backs shut out any Barndarrig attacks allowing no goals past
keeper Mick Priest.
The game ended Bray: 1-17 Barndarrig: 0-10
