Junior A's draw with Knockannana

The second game in a week was on Sunday 8th May in O/C against Knockannana and our team dug deep to fight back in the second half after a very poor opening half. Despite playing with a very strong wind in the first half Bray were behind by three points at half time, 2.01 to 4 pts. Losing their midfielder Ray Lamb through injury after a few minutes of the game seemed to affect the team and Knockannana took full advantage, scoring two easy goals. Bray went five points down in the second half, but the introduction of a number of substitutes gave the team momentum. A goal from Nicky Sweeney and points from Adam Conway, Niall Mc Cague and Daire Lohan gave Bray the lead but Knockanana got an equalising point. There were good performances from Ed Keating, Paul Barry, Gavin Cahill, Stephen Fox, Adam Conway and Daire Lohan.
