Bray Emmets 1.07 - Kilbride 8pts.
Our men's Division 3 Footballers travelled to Kilbride on Saturday 12th March to play their first game in the 2011 league. Bray started the game very well and were 1.03 to a point ahead after 15 minutes, the goal scored by John Walsh and points from Liam Mc Graynor. Kilbride came strongly into the game in the closing ten minutes of the first half with some good points to leave the half time score 1.04 to 5pts in favour of Bray. It was Kilbride that started the second half the better and they got back on level terms midday through the half. Another point by John Walsh from a free edged Bray ahead but Kilbride replied with a similar score. In the final five minutes points by Daire Lohan and Adam Conway won the game for Bray. This was good start to the league and with a full attendance at training the team can be competitive in Div 3. All the team played well, led by Maurice Doyle, Eoin O Dea, Cormac Martin, Ray Lamb, Liam Mc Graynor and John Walsh.
